God has no need to design, that is, to create by planning.

It is important that the word "planning", used on various pages of this guide, be correctly understood. The fact that God has established a flawless order does not mean that our Lord first planned and then created. It must be known that God, the Lord of the earth and the heavens, has no need for any kind of "planning" in order to create. God's designing and creating take place at the same moment. God is far above any such deficiency.

When God wills a thing or an affair to be, it is enough for Him only to say "Be!" for it to be. The verses state:

"His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, 'Be!' and it is"

Surat Ya Sin, 82

"The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, 'Be!' and it is"

Surat al-Baqara, 117
