Al-Adiyat
Translation: Pickthall
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًا
By the snorting courses, 100:1
فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًا
Striking sparks of fire 100:2
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا
And scouring to the raid at dawn, 100:3
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 100:4
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 100:5
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 100:6
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
And lo! he is a witness unto that; 100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 100:8
أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 100:9
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 100:10
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 100:11
