Ash-Sharh
Translation: Pickthall
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 94:1
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
And eased thee of the burden 94:2
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
Which weighed down thy back; 94:3
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
And exalted thy fame? 94:4
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 94:5
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 94:6
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ
So when thou art relieved, still toil 94:7
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب
And strive to please thy Lord. 94:8
